Covers the three elements required for an investment company to be successful: an effective investment strategy, efficient implementation of the strategy, and handling non-investment activities such as compliance. Emphasizes the first two elements and touches on quantitative investment strategies. Includes a mix of textbook readings, journal articles, and case studies, as well as outside speakers from the finance industry.
